Aquarius III is an ultra-faint satellite dwarf galaxy in the constellation Aquarius, about 85 kiloparsecs from the Milky Way. Its stars are extremely metal poor, and the galaxy may contain at least one RR Lyrae star. It may be on its first infall toward the Milky Way and, unlike other Milky Way satellite galaxies, has not experienced significant tidal disruption from the galactic disk.
