The Leonardo M-346 Master is a family of military twin-engined, transonic advanced jet trainers and light combat aircraft. It was originally co-developed with Yakovlev as the Yak/AEM-130, but the partnership ended in 2000. Alenia Aermacchi then developed the M-346 separately, while Yakovlev continued the Yakovlev Yak-130. The M-346 first flew in 2004 and is operated by several national air forces.
