The Canadair CF-104 Starfighter, also designated CF-111 and CL-90, was a Canadian-built modified version of the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter. Canadair produced it under licence. Although designed as an interceptor, it was used primarily as a ground attack aircraft. It served with the Royal Canadian Air Force and later the Canadian Armed Forces, until replacement by the McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet in 1987.
