MDPHP, also called 3',4'-Methylenedioxy-α-pyrrolidinohexiophenone, is a stimulant in the cathinone class. It was originally developed in the 1960s and has been reported as a novel designer drug. In the United Kingdom, it is known by the slang name monkey dust. MDPHP is closely related to MDPV, with slightly milder effects, and has been used as an alternative after MDPV bans in some countries.
