The Škoda Favorit, Type 781, was a supermini car made by Škoda Auto from 1987 to 1995. It began as a five-door hatchback, with the Škoda Forman five-door estate added in 1990 and the Škoda Pick-up two-door coupé utility truck added in 1991. It was Škoda's first car with a transverse front-mounted engine and front-wheel drive. The model premiered at the Brno Engineering Fair in July 1987.
