Dab (dance)

The dab, or dabbing, is a gesture in which a person leans forward into the bent crook of a slanted, upward-angled arm while extending the opposite arm straight in a parallel direction. It resembles sneezing or coughing into an elbow. Since 2014, it has been used to express triumph or playfulness, and became a youthful fad and Internet meme.
