Steina Dam, also called Steinatalsperre, is a dam system in the Harz Mountains of central Germany. Located near the village of Steina in Lower Saxony, it includes a dam, reservoir and waterworks. Inaugurated in 1954 as a retention basin, it became a drinking water reservoir in 1958.
