Sacred Headwaters

The Sacred Headwaters is a large subalpine drainage basin centred on Klappan Mountain in the Klappan Range of northern British Columbia, Canada. It is the source of the Skeena, Nass and Stikine rivers, described as wild salmon rivers. The area is also called the Klappan Valley, though the Klappan River is only one of its watersheds. Local Tahltan people call the area Klabona, loosely meaning “headwaters”.
