Nereide was a Nautilus-class submarine of the Italian Royal Navy during World War I. Built at the Venice navy yard between 1911 and 1913, she was sunk in 1915 by the Austro-Hungarian submarine U-5, commanded by Georg Ritter von Trapp. Nereide's captain, Carlo del Greco, posthumously received the Medaglia d'Oro al Valore Militare for his actions during the sinking.
