Our Lady of Fátima, formally Our Lady of the Holy Rosary of Fátima, is a Catholic title of Mary, mother of Jesus. It is based on Marian apparitions reported by three shepherd children at Cova da Iria in Fátima, Portugal, in 1917. The Bishop of Leiria declared the events worthy of belief in 1930.
