New People is a populist and communitarianist political party in Russia, formed in 2020. It describes itself as liberal, while observers have also called it centrist or centre-right. The party has faced accusations of links with the current government and of acting as a spoiler. Alexey Nechayev has led it since its first congress in Moscow on 8 August 2020. In the 2021 Russian legislative election, it won 5.43% of the nationwide vote and 13 seats.
