The Siege of Numantia, also known in Spanish as El cerco de Numancia, is a tragedy by Miguel de Cervantes. It is set during the siege of Numantia, which was captured and razed by Scipio Aemilianus in 133 BC. Composed around 1582, the play has four acts and uses several verse forms, chiefly octaves. It remained unpublished until the eighteenth century.
