The 771st Bombardment Squadron was a former United States Army Air Forces unit. Activated in 1943, it was among the earliest units equipped with Boeing B-29 Superfortress aircraft. It moved to the China Burma India Theater in April 1944 and took part in a June 1944 attack on the Japanese Home Islands. The squadron earned a Distinguished Unit Citation in August 1944 and was inactivated on 12 October 1944.
