The red-lipped batfish, also called the Galápagos batfish, is a fish in the genus Ogcocephalus found around Ecuador's Galápagos Islands. It occurs at depths of 3 to 76 m. Rather than swimming well, it uses adapted pectoral, pelvic and anal fins to walk on the ocean floor. At maturity, its dorsal fin becomes a single spine-like projection thought to lure prey.
