Milan Cathedral, also called the Duomo di Milano, is the cathedral church of Milan in Lombardy, Italy. Dedicated to the Nativity of St. Mary, it is the seat of the Archbishop of Milan, currently Mario Delpini. Construction began in 1386 and final details were completed in 1965, a process lasting nearly six centuries. It is the largest church in the Italian Republic and among the largest churches in the world.
