Celeste

Platform Games

Celeste is a 2018 platform video game developed and published by Maddy Makes Games. Players control Madeline, a young woman with anxiety and depression, as she climbs the fictional Celeste Mountain. The game combines platforming with themes of self-forgiveness and includes an Assist Mode intended to make play more forgiving. Its soundtrack was composed by Lena Raine. A free expansion, Farewell, added a new chapter in 2019.
