Saltriovenator, meaning “Saltrio hunter”, is a genus of ceratosaurian dinosaur from the Sinemurian stage of the Early Jurassic, in what is now Italy. Its type and only species is Saltriovenator zanellai, formerly known informally as “saltriosaur”. No complete skeleton has been found, but it is thought to have been a large bipedal carnivore similar to Ceratosaurus.
