The BMW Z9, also called the Z9 Gran Turismo or Z9 GT, is a four-seat coupe concept car. Its body uses a carbon-fiber skin over an aluminum space frame. BMW introduced it at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September 1999, and debuted a convertible variant at the 2000 Paris Auto Show. Adrian van Hooydonk designed the Z9 under Chris Bangle. Its design heavily inspired the E63 6 Series.
