Ring crane

A ring crane is a large construction crane with a luffing jib. Its slew pivot uses a ring-shaped track instead of a narrow central spindle. This gives the slewing section a broad base, allowing it to rotate while carrying extremely heavy loads. Ring cranes are rare and are operated by specialised heavy-lift companies. They may be shipped around the world when needed.
