The Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA) is a law passed by the 119th United States Congress and signed by President Donald Trump on November 19, 2025. It requires the U.S. attorney general to make files concerning the prosecution of Jeffrey Epstein publicly available in searchable, downloadable form within 30 days, with declassification where possible. The law also requires an unredacted list of named government officials and politically exposed persons to be given to congressional Judiciary Committees.
