City of Derry Airport is a regional airport located 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Derry, Northern Ireland, on the south bank of Lough Foyle near Eglinton. Formerly RAF Eglinton and Londonderry Eglinton Airport, it was a military base until the 1950s. Redevelopment in the 1990s allowed larger aircraft to use the airport. Loganair, easyJet and Ryanair operate UK services from the airport.
