7 World Trade Center, also called Building 7 or Tower 7, was a 47-story office building in the original World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons and developed by Larry Silverstein, it opened in 1987 with Salomon Brothers as its anchor tenant. Damaged by debris from the North Tower's collapse, it suffered uncontrolled fires and progressively collapsed just after 5:20 pm on September 11, 2001.
