Rodhocetus is an extinct genus of protocetid early whale known from the Lutetian of Pakistan. It is represented by two partial skeletons that together provide a complete picture of an Eocene whale. It had short limbs, long hands and feet that were probably webbed, and an immobile sacrum with four partially fused sacral vertebrae. Its land mammal characteristics demonstrate a transition from land to sea.
