Alexander L. Baugh, born in 1957, is a professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University. His writing has focused largely on the Latter Day Saint movement in Missouri during the 1830s, as well as the LDS Church in 20th-century Great Britain. He is an author and editor, and is one of the editors of the Joseph Smith Papers Project.
