Volkswagen Jetta A1

The Volkswagen Jetta A1 is the first generation of the Volkswagen Jetta compact car, produced by Volkswagen. It was developed from the Golf by adding a trunk and using a traditional three-box saloon configuration. The model became the best-selling European car in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Although its sales in Europe were slower, they were sufficient for Volkswagen to develop later Jetta generations.
