Candidates Tournament 2024

The 2024 Candidates Tournament was an eight-player chess tournament held at The Great Hall in Toronto, Canada, from 3 to 22 April 2024. It determined the challenger for the World Chess Championship 2024 and was held alongside the Women's Candidates Tournament. The event used a double round-robin format. Gukesh Dommaraju won the tournament and earned the right to face defending champion Ding Liren.
