The Mistress (German: Die Geliebte) is a 1927 German silent drama film directed by Robert Wiene. It stars Edda Croy, Harry Liedtke and Eugen Burg, and was based on a play by Alexander Brody. It was Wiene's first film after returning to Germany following two years of work in Austria. Location shooting took place in Vienna, where the story is set, while interiors were filmed at Terra Film's Marienfelde Studios in Berlin.
