François Muller (1764 to 1808) was a French military officer who became a division commander during the French Revolutionary Wars. After serving as a cavalry trooper in the French Royal Army, he joined a Paris volunteer battalion in 1792 and rose rapidly during the War in the Vendée. He later commanded divisions in campaigns including Fleurus and Genola. In 1804 he was implicated in the affair of Jean Victor Marie Moreau and placed under house arrest at Orléans, where he died.
