The Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) is a government body responsible for building regulation in Australia. It writes standardised building requirements, including the National Construction Code, WaterMark and CodeMark. The board is part of a joint endeavour involving the Commonwealth, state and territory governments, and Australia’s plumbing and building industries. National Construction Code regulations are revised every three years, with NCC 2022 identified as the most recent revision.
