Elizabeth Sander was an English Bridgettine nun and writer who lived before 1574 to 1 August 1607. She joined the Syon Abbey nuns during their religious exile. After returning to England, she was imprisoned and escaped in 1580. She later escaped from imprisonment in Winchester Castle before surrendering to her jailors. Sander died in Lisbon, within the only English community of nuns to survive unbroken after the dissolution of the monasteries.
